Position Qualification

Position Summary

This position is based at the Health Science Education Center at the University of Nebraska at Kearney campus.

The faculty member will provide didactic and clinical instruction to the students enrolled in the Medical Imaging and Therapeutic Sciences programs at all program locations.
Build and sustain community partnerships in support of clinical education. Assist program directors with day-to-day administration of the programs, including recruiting, admissions and advising processes.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required. Graduate of an accredited JRCERT Radiography and CAAHEP Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program.

Current ARRT Radiography certification. ARDMS certification in Abdomen and OB/GYN. Vascular certification must be obtained within one year of hire.

Minimum two years of clinical and/or didactic experience in Sonography.

Must have or obtain CPR certification plus pass a drug screen and TB test.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Supplemental Qualifications

Preference given to candidates with cardiac sonography experience.

Master’s degree preferred
