Position Summary

PART-TIME

Serves as the liaison for the MMI-LEND Program to individuals, organizations, and agencies in the community that serve minority populations to incorporate cultural competency in the MMI-LEND Training program. Works with these entities and MMI-LEND faculty to develop, implement, and evaluate curriculum components that address cultural diversity and accessibility and health care disparities. Provides mentoring and resources to MMI-LEND trainees to increase and expand their cultural and linguistic competency.

Preferred Experience:

1. Previous LEND trainee or experience in a LEND Program.
2. Experience working with individuals with neurodevelopmental disabilities and their families.
3. Experience working with individuals of different cultures and backgrounds.
