Position Qualification

Position Summary

The University of Nebraska Medical Center is recruiting a new faculty leader to coordinate and develop its microbiome research program across all Colleges and Institutes, in coordination with the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Existing resources include a fecal transplant program, fecal bank, intestinal transplant program with access to normal and diseased tissues, next generation sequencing and other genomics analysis expertise, multiple unique disease populations available for research. The leader will be working closely with the UNL microbiome research group that is also actively recruiting and is focused on the influence of genetics, disease, and food choices on the microbiome.

Required Qualifications

Faculty with any health professions or PhD training background is eligible. Must show evidence of funded microbiome research program.
